Mission Espada Chapel

This was the first mission established within the boundaries of Spanish Texas and re-established in 1726 and finally moved to San Antonio in 1731.  It is a jewel of a structure because of its small size and excellent proportions.  I particularly like the three bell espandanya.  The delicate flowers, photos and lace evoke emotional memories of its past.
