Dedicated in 1755, the church of Concepcion is a beautifully proportioned structure with twin bell towers of light porous limestone.  These captivating towers are plain but powerful in their simplicity.  I’ve tried to capture the amazing spirit and history of the structure and have emphasized the importance of its architecture with the 22 karat gold leaf towers and dome over the crossing.  Assemblage in drawer is by PJ Cardinale
